Events for 2009 - include Mamma Mia at the Prince of Wales Theatre, an evening with Andy Harper, music by Prime Brass, a visit to the Chocolate Lady at Steeple Bumpstead & Gainsborough House in Sudbury, a trip to Pensthorpe (host of BBC's Springwatch), Jazz evening with Freddie & Friends on the Riverboat Georgina, a live show at Brick Lane Music Hall and a Christmas Seaside Special on Cromer Pier.
Events 2008 - included walks: Antique Quiz and Valuation evening ; an evening with Sally Chidzoy (report/presenter with BBC Look East since 1986) and a Musical interlude provided by the Palm Tree'o ; a River cruise aboard the Nottingham Princess and to come - visit to the Theatre to see "Dirty Dancing"; Chartwell; free Fashion Show & Cookery Demonstration courtesy of Eaden Lilley; recital by the CANN Twins; trip to Thursford Christmas Spectacular to include lunch and a Christmas Spectacular at the Snape Maltings. contact us
Membership of COPE is FREE. COPE acknowledges some valuable financial support from Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council and South Cambs District Council.
However donations to enable us to represent issues concerning our age will be gratefully received. COPE also raises funds through advertising in our Newsletters and stalls at our Forums. For more information contact us
